WILLIAM CHARLES PERRY
There are so few of us who can trace their American origins back to 1620. And fewer still whose roots here transcended with the American Indian tribe Pokanoket Wampanoag. Bill Painted Arrow Perry's bloodline landed here in the Mayflower, and as one of the tribal council for the Pokanoket, his American roots go back well before 1620.

Born in 1938. Slatersville, Rhode Island, Bill developed a passion for the arts as a young man. He not only enjoyed painting, but sculpting as well. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design, and later spent 4 years in the Marines, nurturing his passion whenever possible through instruction and classes at the University of Miami and the Los Angeles Art Center. After service to his country, he served as Art Director for a variety of organizations before setting up his own studio in Providence, Rhode Island.

For the nearly four decades since, Bill's clients have been as ecumenical in variety as has been the scope of his accomplishments in western and marine painting and sculpting. His work has been dispatched and enjoyed by GE, The White House, The American Sail Association, The U.S. Coast Guard, the Department of the Navy, and the Secret Service, McDonalds, Blockbuster Video, and a host of Native American associations, local and state governments, and retailers such as fine restaurant dining. The tasks ranged from store to sculptures to huge murals, to privately commissioned oil paintings of western and marine scenes, and even personal portraits.

Mr. Perry Passed away on December 24, 2010 and was married to his wife of 53 years, Joan. Painted Arrow continued his passion for the arts, albeit health and family obligations have compelled him to reduce his output to ensure its esteemed quality and his pride of workmanship for the final product.

A brief excerpt from his resume lists the following as examples of his work
